Lake Tazawa

Hello!!

 We will introduce Lake Tazawa in Senboku City, Akita Prefecture.
Located in the central eastern part of Akita Prefecture, it is the deepest lake in Japan with a depth of 413.4m.

The beautiful blue color of the ‘water’ called ‘lapis lazuli’ is mysterious, reminding one of endless depths.

The legend of Princess Tatsuko, who is said to have been transformed into a dragon in hopes of eternal youthful beauty, remains.

The circumference of the lake is about 20km.There are many statues of Tatsuko around it.
Also, there are sightseeing boats from Haruyama, a tourist spot by Lake Tazawa.

A famous photo spot near the lake is at the Gozanoishi Shrine, where the contrast between the water’s blue surface and the red torii gate is very beautiful.

It's a very relaxing place, so please go there when you come to Akita

こんにちは！今回は秋田県仙北市にある田沢湖を紹介します。
秋田県中東部に位置する深さ423.4mの日本一深い湖です。
瑠璃色と言われる美しい青は果てしない深さを思わせて神秘的です。
永遠の若さと美貌を望んで龍に変身させられたと言われる「たつこ」の伝説が残っています。
ほぼ円形の周囲は20kmでたつこ像が点在していて観光拠点である春山から遊覧船も出ています。
また、湖畔にある「御座石神社」では、湖面の青と赤い鳥居のコントラストが美しく、フォトスポットとして有名です。
とても心が癒される場所なので、ぜひ秋田に来たら行ってみてください💕
